Apothecary Hall is a two-level apartment right on Ancaster Square in the middle of Llanrwst, and it is one of the more deliberately dog-equipped places to stay in the Conwy Valley. The owners have built in a small dog room with its own bed, and there is a washroom on the lower floor for rinsing muddy paws after a day in the hills. Dog biscuits, and on some stays dog food, are left out on arrival. Guests with dogs mention those three things ahead of anything else about the flat.
Inside it is a genuine two-bedroom apartment over two floors, with a proper kitchen, a washing machine and a bay window seat over the square that most guests end up sitting in. The owners communicate well before arrival, which matters here, because the entrance is round the back beside the hotel car park and is not obvious from the square.
