No 29 is a three-bedroom bungalow on a quiet residential street in Ryde, a few minutes from Appley beach on the Isle of Wight's north-east coast. For dog owners the layout does much of the work: the whole house is yours, the garden is fully enclosed, and there is a utility room by the door, which turns out to matter more than it sounds when a wet, sandy dog comes back from the beach in the rain.
