Porth Neigwl, better known as Hell's Mouth, is a mile or two down the road, a wide wild beach that stays open to dogs through the year, which is not something every stretch of the Welsh coast offers. There is a pub a mile away that takes dogs and does good food, and Abersoch and the smaller Llyn villages are a short drive for shops and restaurants. Walking from the door is the point of the place.
