River View is a brand-new riverside apartment on the Sid estuary at the edge of Sidmouth, with a private balcony directly above the water and a short walk to the seafront. As a whole-flat self-catering rental rather than a room in a shared building, it's structurally well-suited to a small dog: there are no communal corridors to negotiate, you have full control of the space, and the balcony is a useful contained outdoor spot for a dog to relax between walks.

The pet-friendly evidence here is thin but consistent. One traveller who stayed with a small dog described the apartment as lovely, brand new and very clean, with a stunning balcony overlooking the river, and confirmed that the host welcomes small dogs. They said they would happily stay again. We've only seen one explicit pet-traveller review in the public data, so calibrate expectations: this is a positive signal rather than a thick pattern, and what's flagged as "small dog" should be taken at face value when you confirm with the host.

Location works well for dog owners.
