The Pocker Watch is a small self-contained annex in Chideock on the Dorset Jurassic Coast. The one solo traveller who confirmed staying with a small dog described the property as ideal for a quiet escape — a compact but complete setup with shower room, kitchenette and a sofa-bed lounge. Crucially for pet owners, one of the owners was on hand for a personal meet-and-greet, which means a calm, settled handover rather than an automated lockbox check-in that can unsettle dogs.
Location is the strongest pet asset here. The annex sits a short walk from Seatown beach, the Anchor pub (which the verified guest singled out for good food) and the South West Coast Path. The coast path provides miles of clifftop walking in both directions — east toward Eype and West Bay, west toward Charmouth and Lyme Regis — all reachable on foot if you're up for the climb, or by short drives along the coast.
