- Evidence: 8 pet-mention guest reviews sourced from major booking platforms - guests who explicitly mentioned travelling with a dog. Each review is screened for pet-relevance, then judged for sentiment to compute the paw rating.

Pet-friendly summary
Tors Park is a strong pick for anyone who wants a stylish base on the north Devon coast without leaving the dog at home. The modern apartments sit on the hillside above Lynmouth with big windows and terraces facing out over the bay, and guests travelling with dogs consistently describe it as one of the easier places they have stayed with a dog, earning it a 4.8/5 paw rating.
Much of that comes down to the layout. The grounds are large enough that the last walk of the night and the first one in the morning can happen on site, there are dog waste bins dotted around, and a lift saves tired legs (and paws) after a long day out. Staff get a lot of credit for being quick and helpful, from sorting small requests to answering questions on arrival.
The walking is the real draw. A dedicated path winds down through the woods into Lynmouth and its pebbly beach, a riverside path at the foot of the site heads inland through National Trust woodland towards Watersmeet, and the South West Coast Path is just across the road for the Valley of the Rocks and beyond. Be ready for gradients: everything into town is downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back, and the main road is not a walking route. Lynmouth has no proper convenience shop and its restaurants tend to stop serving food around 8pm, so plan ahead if you arrive late.
There are a few things dog owners should know. Apartments with their own access steps from the terrace have no gate at the top, so a dog that wanders may need a makeshift barrier. Dog waste bins have been found overdue for emptying, and some soft furnishings show wear and staining from previous stays. Guests have also found loungers and the washing machine full of hair left by a previous guest's dog, which is worth checking on arrival if anyone in your party is sensitive to it. Light sleepers should note that footsteps from the apartment above can carry.
For walkers who want a contemporary apartment, sea views and a genuinely easy setup for a dog, Tors Park is hard to beat on this stretch of coast.
