Llandudno is one of the easier North Wales towns to visit with a dog, and guests travelling with pets keep returning to that point: the beach, the promenade, the Great Orme itself and a good number of cafes and bars nearby are all happy to see a dog, so days do not have to be planned around where the dog is allowed. The flat is a short walk from the seafront and from the shops on Mostyn Street.

The apartment gets consistently good marks for cleanliness and upkeep, and it is properly equipped for self-catering, which is useful when you would rather feed the dog and eat in than find somewhere that takes both of you. Two things to weigh. Parking is on-street and can be awkward right at the door, so loading and unloading with a dog and luggage takes planning, though free spaces are usually available a street or two away. And this is a flat in a converted building, so you hear your neighbours: barking from another apartment in the block has come up in feedback, which is the trade-off of a town-centre conversion rather than a fault of this flat.

It suits couples or a small family who want a Llandudno base within walking distance of the sea, and who are comfortable with street parking. A pet fee of £60 per dog per stay applies, so a two-dog party should budget £120; the maximum number of dogs is not published, so check that when you book.
